This place is a MUST!!!! We spent our wedding tasting dinner here and were totally blown away from the food. Everyone held compliment and talked about how amazing it was. We chose the menu including apps: Truffle Tutor Tots, Lobster Mac and Cheese, Cedar Key Shells. Turtle salad. Entree Options: Seared Diver Scallops, Grilled Bistro Steak and Chicken portobello. Dessert: Chocolate peanut buttercake and fried bread pudding. The scallops were melted in your mouth from this world. People are still talking about how amazing the food was. We drove the day after the wedding together because nobody could get enough. You have to try the Martini lime cake! Graham Cracker crust and all!!!! There were only 1 small Hiccup for the sample, as we thought we had a whole area privately from other guests who unfortunately did not end up, which led us to be spread a little more than preferred, but the service and the food created more than that.
I had a generous part of the main rib (14 oz), it was excellent with very little fat, but did a little more than I would have wished. My wife had the Mangrove Snapper, who was also excellent. The restaurant has a beautiful location with a bar in the middle of the floor, a courtyard ceiling that allows natural light and an open kitchen. The restaurant recommends reservations. The waiter, Omeil was extremely professional and very pleasant.
Delicious food. Right on the highway on Islamorada. Beautiful atmosphere and cool air conditioning dining room. We had breakfast, Roxie Scramble crab, tomatoes, spinach, cheese and Lobster Benedict both were delicious. Friendly and professional staff. I would recommend this restaurant.
An island tradition, no trip to Islamorda is completely without food in this long time favorite restaurant. Great menu options and friendly service at good prices.
