As of Alabama, where we have a Sneaky Pete Hot Dog chain (which is the best) this place has not only variety that they have homemade ingredients and was originally brought into the bank in the 1900s by a black woman who causes traffic problems! I even love the story behind it. Their surnames are Hawkins and Griffin, both of whom are common in Birmingham, but AL at the same time clearly. I have connections to both surnames and to my first visit as I read the story was absolutely grateful, a 2022 1. To be a customer.
That was one of the best hot dogs I had everywhere. Very friendly service. High quality ingredients. It is small, but it was comfortable and authentic. I tried a classic: cheese, coney sauce and bacon. The bungalow was so soft, the temperature was perfect, and the Coney sauce was delicious. They stacked on broken bacon! Honestly, it could be worth the two-hour drive from Atlanta if I bless for another week and there is no doubt that I will think about it from time to time.
Friday at 1:00. You had a lunch break. The cashier and owner were friendly and patient, although the line was out of the door. The hot dogs were delicious!! Will definitely come back for more.
Sooooo good. Best hot dog in Chattanooga for sure. Footlong coney with cheese, onions, and coney sauce. The best. Hope they continue to flourish like they have.
