we had the most delicious "soupe d'onion" ever and so the rest of the delicious fresh and traditionally kooked food, up to a incredible "zabaglione" (traditional mousse) by the owners Maria and Fiorella (mother and daughter). they run their place in a passioned way as one expect to be. Close to one of the most beautiful churches in Switzerland (San Nicolao) you find a real escape from daily life into a genuine true atmosphere. the restaurant is open at any time throughout the year and have cute rooms where to relaxe and spend good moments. one of the last true genuine place where to feel good as in ancient times.

Very nice place to have a break, a lunch, a dinner or to stay there and have a couple of relaxeted days.Very fine cuisine, with local specialities, very delicious and best prepared.Enjoy your time in Giornico, with all the fine things and proposals you can find....See you...I'm a touristic guide in this village and in the Museum too....
Wir haben zu Mittag in dieser Grotte gegessen, das Essen war köstlich, einzigartig in der Region mit lokalen Zutaten und hausgemachten Aromen. Die Atmosphäre (draußen im Garten sitzen) war wunderschön. Das Personal/der Besitzer war sehr nett und freundlich.
