Guachinche Del Pescado

This restaurant is as authentic as you can get, with local families eating here and not much English spoken but the food is absolutely fresh and tasty and the staff (I suspect it's family run) are lovely people who would bend over backwards to help you. I ordered by pointing out pictures on the wall outside the door which wasn't a hassle at all for anyone. Prices are reasonable. Friendly, relaxed vibe. We had fried cheese, and garlic prawns and squid rings and chips. Great big portions. A lovely experience I'd go again.

Weren’t looking for something special after a big day but accidentally discovered this place on a stroll.... never been happier. It was an evening meal which nearly had pace to ourselves. Outside seating gives you views of ocean. Menu is small but the options are adequate and it means each dish is made with care. Food is delicious and some of best seafood on island. Service was genuine despite the language barrier. Wished we were staying longer so that we could visit again.

We had walked past this restaurant several times but decided to make our last night in Tenerife at this one. It was fairly empty but the waiter was helpful and friendly. We ordered a carafe of local red wine while we perused the menu. We asked about a fish we have only ever had in Tenerife called Cherne, which is Wreck fish in English. We ordered it with sauce and small Canary potatoes. It was superb and will will go back next time. Thank you to all the staff and the cook.

Fantastic restaurant on the promenade. Food amazing. Fish only but great eating with the locals. 1 waiter speaks English so be aware A must as an experience. Is very popular.

Select your own fish or meat and its cooked to order. Delicious! Staff don't speak English but we managed with hand gestures and pointing and much laughter
