On the bright side the restaurant terrace has very nice views, so it might be a nice place for quick coffee stop. however the food and service were poor and beyond. Staff cannot say a single word in English, the menu seems translated by google translate. On arrival at around 6pm I was not extremely hungry so I just ordered 2 soups seafood soup and Canarian soup. They didn’t have the seafood soup even though evening service just started so Instead of the soup I asked for garbanza. Canarian soup was quite okay. Now when the garbanza arrived, it looked like canned chickpeas warmed up in microwave, bland, flavourless and and no meat whatsoever. (Check the menu picture number 16, it says chickpeas stew, sausage, blood sausagepork, therefore meat was expected). When I said that there is no meat in my stew when the menu clearly states that there is, the waiters at first didn’t understand what I’m talking about, they brought Spanish menu and compared number 16. In Spanish there are garbanza(16) and garbanza with cod(17). In English which they do not understand, it says garbanza with sausage. So after 20minutes of me refusing to eat it, they just took it away, asked if I wanna change, but I didn’t, so they removed it from the tab. When tab arrived there were 6 pieces of bread .8eur each included even though physically we received only 2 and we also didn’t even ask for it, so we asked to remove them as well. Upon leaving not a single staff person decided to say bye or sth even though i nicely said bye smiling. I guess if we were speaking Spanish none of this wouldn’t have happened, however it is expected that the staff at least know the English menu, if there is situation with food, they could handle it in few minutes not 30, act somehow nice, and don’t add random stuff to the bill.
the super nice waitress and warns you if you think it's a lot of food not like in other places, that as if you ask for the whole letter and cares for them. the food in general was quite good and the desserts (it says a little sweet) very good....the cranberry cheese cake and the Uruguayan powder also have menu for xon first and second to choose between various options and dessert, drink apart so I recommend
Cozy and quiet restaurant in the heart of the city with great view to the cathedral, close to the ocean. We had a delicious meal, the staff is very kindly, good prices. Sure we'll return.
I can really say that every time we go my husband, I and sometimes my family get satisfied with the attention received, we go home, and homemade desserts ummmm
