Lovely country pub in an idyllic village, woefully let down by the owner/manager, a blonde lady who 's had a charisma bypass. She made us feel as about as welcome as a pork pie at a bar mitzvah. When you 're in the hospitality trade, it 's important to be hospitable. If you can 't at least greet your clientele with a welcome smile and a cheery, 'what can I get you?
