I generally order takeout at Happy, and I'm definitely happy with the food. It's always hot and fresh, and the owners make an effort to get to know you and what you order. The restaurant itself is a little stark, but always clean. I'm moving out of the area and will be sad not to have this place nearby. The lady that answers the phone and takes the orders is no-nonsense, and seems abrupt sometimes, but is secretly super friendly and a nice person. And the food is great!
I would enjoy going there when they first opened and the food was very good, maybe even the best in Port Coquitlam. Over time, the lady running the place, became less happy and downright rude to not only myself but also other people that I had recommended the place to. Unbelievably POOR customer service skills. Good food, terrible attitude and service.
Ordered 12 items for takeout. We had very bad allergic reactions to some ingredient, I would say it was MSG. Two days later, I'm still swollen.Sweet n sour pork was too fatty and tough to chew. More long stalks on broccoli than necessary. Dry garlic chicken was all dough.
Service was one women show, grumpy, and rude. Food was hot and fresh. Was much more expensive than ehst was listed on the web site
