Definitely recommend! Unfortunately, we could not eat at this time, due to our time constraints, all about this place felt welcome, the service was amazing. This sweet lady took my order and even recommended the Jack's Potatoes who were amazing and enough for two. After my order came another sweet lady and had a very pleasant conversation with me. When I picked up our food about 10 minutes later, we were so excited about what we received. A sausage egg and cheese potatoes Burrito, which tasted amazingly, and made me like a child in the Nanas house, the burger of my husband, said he was so thick and juicy and tasted so well, both meals were so fast away. We're going back to our next trip to Bakersfield, do you have a favor and go to this fantastic restaurant? We have a regret, not pictures of the amazing food and the beautiful furnishings.
A small jewel hidden in the corner of G St and 20. St. It is a small cozy, nostalgic diner with a cosy ambience. Sitting is limited by the table top inside and a few tables outside. Went to breakfast and it was delicious! Had the chili blew with potatoes. The food was a good portion. Very good piece of meat. Sauce was very tasty and tasteful. The potatoes were boiled with a snack and with cheese (BOMB! . The service and the jokes were excellent! Recommend this place if you are looking for different breakfast/ lunch places. Get a piece or a whole RUDY Pie!!! You won't regret it!
My son and I were driving from Southern California to Chico. I asked him to look up a local restaurant with good rating in Bakersfield. We sat at the bar, ordered burgers, and didn?t expect too much. The burgers were served and we both bit into them and agreed. Perfection! The best burgers we?ve ever had you could not ask for better!
Hometown, Mom Pop (actually Sisters! , lunch-counter experience with fresh foods made in-house from scratch, even the iced tea! The seats at the Lunch counter are real chairs that move, you can get comfortable here. I heartily recommend this incredibly friendly eating establishment!
