The food was amazing as well as service. I gave 4 stars vs 5 stars because I felt my oxtail meal was very small. I had only 2 oxtails (both big size but only one had meat on it the other one was entirely fat about 90% of it I didn't realize it until Igot home to eat the left over one. Kinda pricy to spend $25, and get cheated on portion. Other than that empanadas were perfectas was rice and red beans were yummy. My hubby loved his chicken dish! I would definitely return but prob wouldn't order oxtailsunless they can guarantee both pieces have meat on it. (It tasted so good! Wish the other one had meat though! I love that theyhave bottle cokes that was so cool! I will make my video reel and post soon on Tik tok and IG! Hidden gem you must give them atry!
We've been wanting to come here for quite a while now and today was the day. It looks like they're expanding bar and I like where they're headed with it. I saw 3 or 4 places for tequila! The food was absolutely delicious. We started with papa'srelleno. Deep fried mashed potato balls filled witha savory surprise. I had the paella and my wife was hungry for a Cubansandwich. I spiced mine up a little with their homemade habenero sauce. Just the right amout of heat! Add Havana South to yourlist of go to places. The ood and staff are amazing.
How is this place not packed? Maybe cause it's lunch. At night this would be the place! It's my First time. Not the last. I ordered just the sammich. Its huge! I put a knife by it. That's only half! I'm eating the other half. So much flavor. Cleanenvironment. Great music. Very friendly staff. The decor and vibrant colors take you down to the island while eating. I onlysupport local businesses, no food chains. I'll be back!
I came here on a Saturday afternoon and the place wasn't busy. The food service was quick and it was excellent! I had the Vaca frita and I highly recommend it. Everything tasted so fresh and delicious. Even the guava juice that I order was fresh and cameout in a big cup. Worth every penny. I would definitely be back.
