I have visited helios for the last 30 years or so, and it is generally quite good that they know, ok eat, good staff and a beautiful view. but in the last 12 months it is not sure whether there is a change of the owner / management, but the place is a shadow of the former himself. only the view seems not to have changed, thankful! almost all employees are now quite rude, table service is everything, but disappeared and eating is bad and overpriced. we visited last week when I snorkelled with my son and his friend and thought we would try again to have been there in the mai again. But if it wasn't on pink, a new waitress that was only there on her 2nd day, we would have evolved honestly. Unfortunately, there is no other way to say it differently than the other waiterin submission stank. they refused to serve us because we had no table reserved, although we sat on our table for an hour and the restaurant was far away. they ordered us to go to the bar and choose tapas from there, who looked all disgusting. After we have said it well, we go easy and go somewhere else, they have decided to order 3 dishes (between 5 of us who, when they came out, were quite laborious. the special salate was anything but special, the calamares were tasteless with soggy battery and the sardines were clearly cooked out of frozen! Moreover, the portions were small and overpriced 11 for a very basic salate, 10 for 4 sardines. as already mentioned, the only redeeming features of the restaurant were the view (which would also fight the current management to pamper) the new waitress pink, which, when we were quietly apologised in the name of the other waitresses and waiters (I doubt very much that they apologise and admitted that they were embarrassed by the hire of the other employees. we have cared for pink with a nice tipp, but I'm sure it's fed up quickly as the other waitresses always try to stop them from being so helpful for the customers. I don't think I'm going back a long time and not if they make serious improvements. if they wish a rat, I would begin to change the waitress (except pink it is the type they want to bring back there, table service (they are a restaurant at the end of the day and a cook that can cook fresh food well. they get this right and they can calculate the prices they charge, and the people will be happy to pay them.
It’s our first visit to denia so on a lovely walk we called into this little place (fantastic location by the way) for a coffee, twice. Customer service not great but we let that go. On our third walk we decided to have a glass...of wine. We sat out side but it was chilly so we then came in. The only other people inside were the miserable looking staff. One of which was playing videos very loudly on her phone. It was dreadful. We couldn’t get out of there fast enough we didn’t finish our wine which turned out to be the the worst and most expensive we’ve had. So if you want good coffee but bad wine and terrible customer service this place is perfect for you!
El sitio es una maravilla con una ubicación privilegiada. La comida es buena (suquet, pago posterior, sargo de hierro... y el sitio está en una ubicación privilegiada, lo que hace que la experiencia sea una maravilla. Es cierto que al principio pueden parecer algo rudos en el trato, pero hemos estado yendo muchos años por ahí y siempre hemos recibido un trato correcto. Para nosotros es una visita casi obligatoria, en cualquier momento, aperitivo, comida, puesta de sol... Creo que es muy bueno que los perros no sean aceptados, al menos en el área de mesa. Ignorant poor face staff and food not fit for a dog but most of all very over priced brit haters. Please Please do not visit the place it will ruin your day .
