On the top floor of the Surf Life Saving Club their is a cafe/restaurant. It is simply decorated as it doesn't need to do much as the view over the ocean and jetty is stunning. We went for breakfast and the prices were good and the meals, though not outstanding were still good quality.
There are lots of great places along this beach strip for a drink but this is one of the best. The veranda sits over the sand and you feel like you are part way over the ocean. Spectacular. Great spot for a sunset drink.
You have to try the schnitzels at the HBSC, they are magnificent. Heaps of toppings, I had the kilpatrick, superb. Chris and his staff will look after you with warm and friendly service.
We went to Glenel beach and decided to go to Henley Surf Club for lunch, nice meals, fantastic view, very helpful staff. Eat inside very chilly on the balcony but nice in the sun
