Hillside Dosa Hutt

I was in the area saw that there were a ton of Indian restaurants. I quickly decided on this place popped in for a fast casual dinner while I waited for rush hour traffic to thin out. Loved it—I’ll be back! The Tamarind rice was my favorite. A large portion—easily for 2-3 meals. I added some raisins when I got home will be taking it with me tomorrow for lunch in the office. Owner was very nice welcoming. Everyone that worked there was nice.

This is a to go place. Food is taste and delicious. The coffee is the best. No where in New york have I had such authentic filter coffee. Thali is very simple and basic. The southindian food is toooo good.

Delicious food, courteous staff, no frills place. I have enjoyed every meal. Love the veg biryani, bisibelbhat, mushroom dosa, plain Dosa, idlis. Can’t go wrong with their food.

The food I had was tasty. But I have no idea what anything on the menu means, if you’re not from their culture you’d have to google everything

Prices are decent, food was ok, the apps are probably like the best but overall a small place
