Hochmaisalm - Tisch reservieren

Echt vakantie gevoel krijg je hier.Wij komen hier 's zomers en 's winters. Maar willen altijd even bij Carl en Katrien wat eten en/of drinken.In de winter kan je ook tegen kostprijs 's avonds met de Yeti naar boven ( en weer terug natuurlijk) en daar heerlijk eten. Super ervaring. Wel even reserveren want vol is vol.De bediening is altijd prima, de kwaliteit is vers en goed. Net even anders dan de rest.Zeer gastvrij en de wc is schoon, compleet en moet je hier echt gezien hebben....

During our (summer) holidays in Hinterthal we visited the Hochmaisalm several times because of the friendly staff and great food. In case you will visit them, we strongly advise to order the so called "Jausbrett"; all kinds of nice Pinzgauer delicacies (cheese and meat) and enjoy the food and panorama over a nice glass of Stiegl. Hospitality with a smile, in optima forma; we will be back!

The Hochmaisalm is a good place to have lunch on a ski trip trough the Skicircus. It is not the best place we have been to, but food is decent and the restaurant is cosy. one thing to remember is that they only accept cash, something we experienced more often in this region but somewhat old fashioned.

This place was so friendly and had many locals that walked here. The goulash soup was fantastic and had great chunks of meat in it, a real hearty lunch. Would definitely go again.

An dieser Alm könnten wir Schweizer uns ein Vorbild nehmen. Liegestühle, Alphornbläser und freundliche Bedienung zu vernünftigen Preisen.
