Today (7-31-2022) I bought a half dozen extra large male crabs. They were about $60 which I?m not mad about. I know everything is high right about now especially crabs. However, the crabs were bad and I knew because they smelt like ammonia when I cracked them open. I ate half a crab and an hour later I was hovered over the porcelain throne. Couldn?t even eat them. I called them just to make them aware the crabs were bad and smelt like ammonia. I knew I wouldn?t get my money back, but I just don?t want anyone else to get sick. They offered to exchange them, but no thanks ? I even doubt I can hold anything down right now. I just know not to order crabs from Homeboys again. The only reason I gave them two stars is because the hush puppies were good. Don?t get crabs from this place!
Big men bought. It was disappointed that we had regular size, meal and still cost me $75. I called the shop and the manager was very pleasant and committed. He let me return the 10 unopened crabs for a refund. If the lady had been more customer service behind the register, I would have been better rated. She acts like I stole the crabs and the credit card I paid for them. She could not believe that she tried to compare the numbers from the entrance to the map, but to keep the credit card on her head. I didn't crack you. If the crabs on the LARGE size are delicious. The thing is for so much money that you want to get LARGE crabs from the LARGE price. Hey, HOMEBOYS don't try to get to the customer. Honesty is the best policy and keeps customers back.
My daughter's friend bought crabs from this place on the other day. You were so good, I thought I bought something today. Today they were HORRIBLE and HORRIBLY small. The next size would have been a hermit basket. When I asked to see the little ones because the biggest males they had were medium. He said they didn't have kids. I'm sure they didn't do it because the medium size was SUPER SMALL. I said these are terrible, he just shaken his shoulders. I'm going to Baltimore, like I did, when they keep selling Hermit-Krebs!
Waited 30 MINUTES for a little soup. asked for a refund and the employee said the manager was in the back and refused to even let them know I was waiting for him and wanted to say a refund, she can't hurry him, she must wait until he comes to his own? The WORST customer service. I was very polite and DID NOT get the refund due to their refusal, the manager out. Not God. Maryland? Fresh seafood in chainring taste better, fresher, and their service is EXCELLENT.
