Homolje Grill Meidling

Great place for meat. We came by to get some takeaway. There was a little bit of a language barrier but there was a helpful lady who translated for us and a couple of the staff spoke English. They were quite busy at the time,...it looked like a wedding. we ordered a schnitzel, a large mixed grill, stuffed chicken drumsticks and Cevapcici sausages. The meals were huge, filling two of the large aluminium platters. The mixed grill had the drumstick as well as the sausages so it was a really nice dish to have to try everything. I quite liked the schnitzel and the meat patty. The other BBQ items were also really tasty. The only issue was that it was a bit salty for my liking so it would have been nicer with more bread. Otherwise, the service was really friendly and the food was quite tasty and really big servings. We had enough food for a meal and a half for people

We have been many times, in the main restaurant, in Wiedner Hauptstraße Margarethen The food is consistently fantastic, especially the family platter with mix grill. The home made bread also stands out. We go there times per year
