Hop Shoppe (the)

Disappointed. Cheese dip for the pretzel was bland and grainy but the pretzel was still nice and fluffy with a nice chewy exterior and quite large. Skirt steak and shrimp were cooked well, but part of the reason I opted for the surf and turf over the steak frites was the Mexican street corn which I didn't receive. Instead, I received asparagus. It was fresh and grilled well, also, but not what I wanted. At least it was served with a salad. Unfortunately, no dressing was sent... For the price, I was disappointed.

There are not many spots on Staten Island that would rate a 4 star, let alone a 5 star. The front bar is a lively and eclectic bundle, so no one will feel out of place, they have 2 back rooms for parties or a dinner plus a playroom for boating. The food is not a bar food quality that it tastes like restaurant food. Definitely will return soon...

First time here and it was interesting and unique. They have an arcade room. Food was pretty good. A little on the expensive side especially for appetizers and small portions. Staff were very nice and friendly. Not too crowded. I came here for a birthday party. My daughter and her friend as well as all the other kids had a great time

This place is so cool. The food is bar food but it’s good. They have wings, fries and other things. Their beer choices are excellent. Long menu with over 20 craft beers on tap. The place is big with seating in the entry room and a back room. They have classic arcade games like, Pac-Man, in the back room.

Hoppe Shoppe wings never disappoint. I love Hoppe Shoppeeeee!
