It's nice and I know craft beer is growing in Spain so all in good time, but having visited a number I am being a bit critical. It suffers by being a bit expensive when you can indulge on good wine for far cheaper all around, or get swamped by the night vibes of the Old Town streets essentially the location doesn't help, which is why a lot of craft beer places start more on periphery of urban areas. The beer is ok and nice to have in smaller portions, more like a beer flight option would be great. They have some great cans (eg Pollys) but not well advertised (unless you want to peer behind the long bar all night not easy when busy), so a menu may help. Also more on local breweries would help it sells on the type of beer mainly when a lot of people may be looking for details eg the Hop varieties, where it is from etc bit geeky, but part of the appeal.

Passed Hoppy on the way to dinner and made a mental note to pop in for one on the way back to our hotel. Surprised to see 15 draught beers, with nice simple descriptions in English. The barman also spoke good English too. Tried a 5.7% porter to start with using the smaller 33cl ? Measure . Then tried their own brewed English Strong Ale at 7.8%. This was quite thick and sweet and after 2 sips, and no comment from me, the barman came and changed it, saying it was the end of the barrel. The fresh one was much lighter and almost floral very impressed, so I had another. Mention should go to my wife who liked their G&T. Seagrams gin with Nordic tonic and fresh orange. Be aware that the free pouring of the gin does mean some large measures!

A vast selection of craft beer from around the world. Staff were reasonably friendly spoke English. You can taste test the beers if you are unsure whether you'll like it. I didnt try the food myself, but the patatas bravas looked average. A great find for lovers of beer.

A great modern cerveceria in El Tubo, Zaragoza. Loads of distinctive beers from Spain and further afield to tempt the customer as well as good food offerings. Sports on TV, all good!
