I don't really write anything at home. It is good, solid, but there are so many other places that offer much more. At first, the table we had was not clean. It was very sticky. The maize bread appetizer was different, but very sweet too sweet. My wife got the fish and chips, and she said she was okay. This is the same for my burger (Hopsco). Not bad for $12, but I could not mention a burger of a few fast food places that would be superior to many other places that really offer great burgers. One of the biggest disappointments was the lack of variety in beer. I thought a place called Hops Supply Co. would be an extensive selection of hoppy local beer. Not like that. I finally found a porter I wanted to try and I wish I could tell you if it was good, but I never got it. I'm not sure why, but somehow my request for a drink was lost. I was so underwhelmed with all the experience I decided it was not worth worrying. If I skip a beer, there's definitely something wrong.
I ordered food and it was good! They do not have chicken pliers for adults, so I ordered a children's meal, and it was tasty, the offers are not the typical frozen and came hot and juicy. The burger had a lot of taste, but the cheese was kind of strange, more like a goat cheese than what they advertised it than. The sweet potato fried with brown sugar butter dipping sauce? were excellent. I look forward to eating at the restaurant and enjoy the full experience!
Beautiful and spacious environment, friendly staff, and great food! I would eat the coconut carrot cake daily if I could, it was just divine. Short rib tacos and dish and chips were delicious as well. The kids enjoyed their Mac and cheese/grilled cheese as well.
Enjoy this place whenever we visit Wilmington. Close to UNCW, has a great atmosphere, food and beer selection. The staff was always pleasant and then the toilets are clean. We will continue to make this a joint stop when we visit the area.
