Hotel de la Paix Restaurant

We visited this restaurant whilst staying elsewhere in Albert. The waitress was very friendly and apologetic when my steak was cooked well done and it was a poor quality steak at that. I had emphasised that I wanted it medium rare and showed her the word in the dictionary to be sure. It came cremated. They took my sirloin steak away and what returned was an equally cremated minute steak. I left it and complained but no apology or alternative! The waitress tried her best but was only given rubbish quality food from the kitchen. I would avoid this place

I enjoyed two dinners at this very nice small city French restaurant. No fast food here thankfully. I enjoyed the local wine and they do offer an aperitif with the meal. It was not busy when I was there but if it were in British Columbia patrons would be lined up out the front door.

just had a meal here on Friday night, the food was wonderful and plenty of it all freshly cooked. The service very quick and the server was a delightful young girl. will certainly eat here again, only 25 euro for 3 courses I highly recommend it

Stayed two nights at the Hotel and dined-in both nights. Traditional French dishes, well prepared, generous servings and good service. Happy to recommend both the hotel and its restaurant to anyone visiting the Somme battlefields.

The menu is a bit restricted but the food is very well cooked and presented. The service is delightful and the prices are quite reasonable.
