Hotel de Paris - Tisch reservieren

We were there on a Globus tour in September 2016. The cafes were all busy, but we were seated and our order for 3 mussels in garlic sauce was taken right away. Our drinks were brought promptly to our table, followed by a basket of bread...and after 30 minutes of watching others being served their meals (orders placed AFTER ours), my partner went and said we had to leave as our tour bus was departing in 10 minutes.We paid for our beers and left. A waiter ran after us saying that we hadn't paid for our hamburger and mussels. I explained to the frantic fellow that we never received our lunches and that the order he was talking about was for a couple that was still in the restaurant.Our tour director was livid that they "list" our lunch order and that we still paid for our beers(he said we should have been comped for the inconvenience).What started out as a lovely dining experience turned bad within minutes.

We have come frequently to this restaurant and have always been pleased. Our friend was playing in his band on a Friday night, and we came to enjoy the weather and the music. The food was tasty, but my guest's main course portion was very small? The new Manager addressed the matter..

We were looking for lunch and tried out the Hotel de Paris. Menus arrived eventually and we ordered aperitifs. Food arrived for other diners, orders were taken, promises were made but nothing happened. After 30 minutes, when people who arrived after us had been served, we left.

The meals were correct, the desert ( pavlova) was dry and artificial. The service was inefficient, although the personnel was very nice, and we waited too long for the meals

Good value for the money. Lovely sea view. The flavours were really nice. Very little english is known among the staff.
