Hotel du Pont - Tisch reservieren

We stopped into this restaurant on a random drive from Beaune. It's situated on the main drag of Pommard. The restaurant patio is situated over a little waterway. Quite charming. There were no other apparent tourists in the place. The food was simple and excellent. We shared a delicious Salade Nicoise, followed by a perfectly cooked roasted chicken and frittes. We finished with a lovely cheese platter, all accompanied by crisp white wine. The service was friendly and, for France, casuaI. t was one of the most satisfying meals of our entire month in France.

we enjoyed this enough to go twice, a nice menu selection, excellent well priced wines, good french food and a terrific cheeseburger and fries. The service is pleasant, not quick but well paced. Its casual, inexpensive and good beyond its prices. Nice wines from $6..wow!! Nobody speaks a word of English, which is both charming and a bit frustrating at the same time, but they try. Take a translation app!!

Situated right on the village crossroads at Pommard this is a great place for a drink or a meal. Lunches and dinners are hearty fare in Burgundian style and the beers and wines are well priced. Sit in the bar or outside on the decking. Locals eat here too .......

We stumbled upon this place as it was the only open restaurant in PommardIt seems pretty busy and there were some locals there as well.

Terrasse agréable mais en bord de route passante. Repas simple mais bon.Idéal pour un midi.Prix correct, service agreable
