we were standing before the restaurant last Sunday and found on the menu that was displayed in front of the door at the moment something that promised us. a wild cordon bleu from the reh is not what everyday, but sounded so tempting that I wanted to try it as a professional cordon bleu lover. Unfortunately, on Sunday is also a Sunday afternoon, which seems somewhat strange due to many hikers in this place at weeks and thus many potential customers. It is also possible to concentrate more on the management of hotel guests. Anyway, we didn't want to be satisfied with this and we went out to arlesheim again today. a mistake, because the culinary experience was not worth the extra drive.Kurzum, that eating has not been enthusiastic. the meat was much too dry, which could possibly still be typical for reh. nevertheless, even in the "classic cordon bleu" of my companions, the meat (from the vernacular) did not convince and made a rather inferior impression. anyway, the cordon bleu were much too thick, which naturally makes itself noticeable in dry meat again negatiw. I had already cordon bleu with more lay which were nevertheless thinner. also the filling could not convince. I am sure the idea of a Reh-Cordon bleu was already the wrong choice on my part, but that I could try from the cordon bleu my companion at least calmed me that a normal cordon bleu would not have been better either. may be that other dishes in this restaurant taste excellent.In addition, the one or other lapsus of the service comes, so my cordon bleu has not been delivered with the ordered supplement for example. late zle may be quite normal at wild, yet I ordered pommes frites. in that moment in which the waitress served the teller, she noticed the mistake and apologised herself. I did not intervene very much at this place, as the delivered supplement was almost right to me, but could not inspire them.
