Hotel-Gasthof zur Post

My partner and I stopped here just for some dinner, We had already stayed at the hotel for a week when on Holiday back in July, And on this occasion, We were staying a few miles down the road in Fuschl,. So we decided to see if the meal as an outside guest was better than when we stayed while with a package holiday and guess what it was. We felt very disappointed and let down with our food generally last time. However on this occasion all was well. On our last visit we felt that we were not important and management had no time for its guests. But fair do's The food was brilliant, the staff really nice and pleasant despite being busy.. I would certainly return here for a meal when visiting again in the future, probably next year.

We spent a few days with the family nearby and visited this place once for dinner. If I say, that our hotel selection was exceptional (Schloss Fuschl), then I'm speechless for this place. Simply fantastic. I really can't say a bad word to anything. The staff was really friendly, all the meals were delicious and the kaiserschmarrn is something unexpected... Believe me, I tried a lot, but it's even better then my grandma's or mom's. We'll definitely go back, when next time around.

We stopped in the quaint little village of St. Gilgen today and enjoyed lunch in this charming hotel. We had the veal goulash with spaetzle and it was delicious. Service was excellent and the restaurant is decorated for the Christmas Market. Lovely stop.

When first arriving the hotel looks beautiful in the main square. It is an old building and you expect older rooms BUT the rooms are all extremely modern. The views were excellent. The whole stay was excellent.
