We had dinner one night at the Weinstuben Hieronimi restaurant, and I could not speak more highly of the staff, the food, and the great view of the Mosel river in the evening. We also chose a wine from their own cellar (a Kerner Qualitätswein)...which is by far the best sweet wine I've ever tasted. If I'd had any way to transport a bottle home, I would have probably brought three!
We visit Cochem annually and take at least two of our dinners at Hieronimis' restaurant. The food is excellent, the wine is great and the setting is awesome. They have a pretty extensive menu and we have never been disappointed. We love their house wines,...but they offer lots of alternatives. It is, by far, the best dining experience we have found in Cochem. Try it!!
Lange Wartezeit, gestresste Kellner, das Essen sehr durchschnittlich. In den geschäftigen Abendstunden kann eine Reservierung erforderlich sein. Schöne Terrasse mit Weinpflanzen und Blick über die Mosel. Der Wein war gut. Empfehlen Sie lieblich.
Long waiting time, stressed waiters, the food very average. Reservation may be necessary in the busy evening hours. Nice terrace with wine plants and view over the Mosel. The wine was good. Recommend lieblich.
