Hôtel Restaurant Le Grand Chalet

Sie war im August 2019 zu Besuch – vor Covid, konnte es aber in den Bewertungsoptionen nicht auswählen. Wir waren im Grand Chalet des Hotels und haben am ersten Abend im Restaurant gegessen und was für ein tolles Erlebnis. Wir haben uns für 4 Personen mit Raclette, Fleischplatte, Salat, Brot und Kartoffelchips entschieden, was wirklich fantastisch und ein echtes Tischerlebnis mit der Kulisse des wunderschönen Berges und dem leuchtenden Feuer hinter uns war, alles und mehr, was ich erwartet hatte. Eine Zeit, an die sich unsere Familie noch viele Jahre erinnern wird. Ich kann das Hotel und das Restaurant nicht genug empfehlen. Nach dem Abendessen wagen wir uns auf den Balkon, um in kostenlose Decken eingewickelt ein paar Drinks und heiße Schokolade mit Brandy zu genießen. Später in diesem Jahr wird es mir gut gehen.

the place is majestic and apart from the intention of the surrounding mountains, eating and service surpassed our expectations. staying in the chalet was already a wonderful experience and we have no regrets, and so we had to eat. Fondue...was on the menu so we couldn't resist. service with a smile and contemporary. meat fondue was the choice of the day, and it was sublime. accompanied by good Swiss wine, made the evening an unforgettable one. one has to repeat, so we'll be back soon.

We were staying in the hotel for the evening, so thought we'd try the restaurant below the hotel out. Good choice of quality Swiss dishes awaited us, with either eating out on the veranda or inside the cosy wooden panelled rooms. The food was excellent,...as was the service.

great eating, super friendly staff and stunning views! Don't miss it! we put them to lunch and we didn't expect the quality we have. the flesh was delicious, we have a burger with deceased and freshly fied who were ingenious. a must, if. visit her leysin!

Chesefondue and raclette old style for two are perfect! the service is very friendly, especially with children.
