Hugs & Cups - Tisch reservieren

Wanting a change from our usual lunchtime eatery we decided to try the cafe in the Hugs Cups Cafe in the Alpines Sportzentrum. It was around 2pm when we arrived so it was more of a late lunch. The menu here is fairly basic...and we opted for the minestrone soup and ham sandwich. Our friends had already had their lunch by the time we arrived to meet them. They recommended the Garlic Soup but unfortunately, the cafe was sold out! I guess it must have been a winner. Our food seemed to take a while and when the other half went to enquire with the server, he was abruptly told that she hadn't forgotten the order and that it takes a while because she makes everything fresh! We couldn't help but have a giggle about it. The minestrone soup wasn't our first choice but it wasn't a bad second choice. I can't honestly say that the ham sandwich was anything special......why? well by the time we finally got the food, I was to the point of getting hangry!. I do however, remember that the bread was very good! Not a bad cafe to visit during your time in Murren.

Direkt neben dem Sport-/Wellnesszentrum, in der Nähe des Touristeninformationszentrums, befindet sich dieses kleine, aber sehr feine Café. Wenn Sie nach einem ruhigen, friedlichen, sonnigen Ort in Mürren suchen, an dem Sie eine Tasse guten Kaffee mit noch besseren hausgemachten... Kuchen (außerdem in gluten- oder milchfreier/veganer Form) oder etwas Kleines zu essen, wie ein hausgemachtes Sandwich usw., genießen können Suppe, das ist der richtige Ort. Serviert von stets freundlichen Mädels, die die Köstlichkeiten selbst backen. Seien Sie vorsichtig, ihre Kuchen machen süchtig! Nehmen Sie Ihr Buch, bestellen Sie etwas Kleines und genießen Sie den Moment. Es ist einer meiner Lieblingsorte in Mürren, da ich hier lebe und immer wieder zurückkomme, um meine Dosis hochwertiger süßer Leckereien zu genießen.

not much more to say the food here is delicious , simple food with an extra twist done perfectly (chicken wrap comes highly recommended) Sandwiches , yummy home made desserts and coffee done RIGHT ! top it off with super nice friendly staff and a...location to die for , what more could one ask

Sie können draußen sitzen, in einen Teppich gehüllt, und dem Skaten zusehen....ideal. Das Personal, das das Café leitete, war freundlich und die Kuchen hausgemacht.

You can sit outside, wrapped in a rug and watch the skating....ideal The staff running the cafe were friendly and the cakes home made.
