Ice Cream On Grand

Average but too expensive. We wanted to try a new ice cream shop so we came here for the first time and ordered 1 small soft serve on a cone plus 1 scoop of ice cream on a waffle cone. The staff just said Waffle cone comes with 2 scoops. Total $19 as she prepared the ice cream. I had zero second to process and just thought, alright it 'd better to be good. The ice cream was average, too creamy and sweet. HOW IS IT $19??! That 's a solid meal! I 've been living in NYC for a decade and visited for the weekend. Don 't think the price for ice cream anywhere in NYC even that bad! I could consider paying as much for Big Gay Ice Cream or Amorino or Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory because they actually tasted good. It was insane to price up your ice cream like this! Also, it 'd be better to have a price chart right in front or somewhere obvious. It 's not that visible in the store.

I've driven past this establishment several times, and yesterday was a day to try it. I was very pleasantly surprised. Though the prices are New York City prices, they're worth it. The butter pecan had more pecan than butter flavor, but it was very good, nonetheless. The pistachio ice cream, and all the other ice creams with tasty bits, was very generous with its tasty bits; I've never seen whole pistachios sitting on top of a tub of pistachio ice cream. That was very, very good. Thumbs up. Perhaps they close in the winter, because there's no indoor seating.
