Ichiban Japanese Steakhouse And Sushi

Celebrated a friend’s birthday last night. My waitress was great considering there was about 13 of us. The chef was not. My wife and I ordered hibachi dinners with vegetable rice and only got rice with butter and soy sauce 15 minutes after everyone else got their rice and vegetables. He plopped a raw salmon on my plate that I had to send back 3 times. I noticed A LOT of cross contamination going on which could explain the explosive diarrhea that we both had when we got back home. Recently visited Ichiban (Sterling heights location) and had the pleasure to be served by Nancy. Her service was absolutely outstanding. Nancy was attentive , friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure that me and my family had the best experience! The restaurant food was great overall but the customer service was a 10/10! We had dinner at Ichiban and everything was great. Our server Nancy did a phenomenal job making sure we enjoyed our drinks and meals.
