My mother and I went there for their Saturday brunch and it was spectacular! The lemon pancakes smelled and tasted delicious with the perfect aroma of lemons and a hint of corn along with the well paired ricotta and berries. The breakfast pizza was delicious with it 's thin crust cooked to perfection and the oil and basil-forward pesto sauce.My mother ordered the eggs in purgatory but she cannot stand runny or soft egg yolks (she claims they 're not fully cooked). The staff was very accommodating in making sure she got an order with fully cooked eggs. And the affogato was to die for with some of the smoothest and full flavored espressos and a delightfully rich vanilla gelato. 10/10 would go again.
Our dinner plates were really really good. We also got a margarita pizza to try it was just ok. Service was really good, our server knew all about the wine list and picked out a bottle that was perfect for us.. also a heads up you have to call in for reservations
by far one of the best restaurants in columbia and probably one of the best Italian restaurants that I have ever eaten, including major cities such as nyc or boston. I never had a bad meal and eating is always consistently delicious!
The atmosphere is cozy with touches of fine dining, grandma's living room, and a sports bar. The staff is very kind, the food and drink are divine, and George himself is a delight to talk to.
