Read reviews before ordering. Ordered at 7:55pm with advised delivery time of 8:45, this then changed to 9:15. By 9:20 still no food, rang restaurant and advised driver was on his way. By 9:50 still no food, rang again to be told driver was struggling to find us but he wouldn 't be much longer, please give it 5 minutes by 10pm still no food rang restaurant again and told he 's definitely coming. 10:05pm food arrived, portion was so small my 4 year old could have finished it and it was not even hot. Absolutely disgusting prices for terrible food and the restaurant really don 't care. I 'm sure they 'll put some response on here saying I was rude or something, like they appear to do to all the reviews that tell you what the restaurant is really like. I am not a rude person and was more than polite, the restaurant clearly expect only positive reviews for poor standard, over priced food.
A tale of a long lost curry! Absolutely atrocious! Order at 7:30pm, should have arrived at 9:25pm but nothing! Phoned them at 10pm to find out where order was, I got told it’s on its way madam! Do you want me resend it from the restaurant??? Why would you need to do that if it’s on it’s way?? After calling the restaurant 8 times, we were told our food had gone on a 15 mile trip in the other direction but it’s now on its way to you! Should be in next 15 mins! Well as you can guess it didn’t arrive! Phoned again at 11:15pm, asked where delivery was, and this time was told the driver had tried to deliver, had been banging on our doors and windows but we had gone out! Absolute jokers, lies, lies lies!!!
Love the food. The issue is actually getting it. Regularly 2 to 3 hours to receive but Tonight was the last time. Ordered at 1810. Queried where order was at 2052. Told food would be 20 minutes. Queried at 2130. Was told would be 25 minutes. That would make it nearly 4 hours. Don't believe they had any intention of delivering. Whilst I appreciate we live a distance from there they state they deliver to this postcode. If they can't do it they shouldn't accept the orders. Stupid thing is their order tracker states it was delivered after just over an hour. Such a shame as will no longer use them despite the good food.
I am a keen curry enthusiast and I must say these guys really do it well. Fantastic flavours, always arrives piping hot which is great considering we are a 20 minute drive away! The meat is always cooked very well, the lamb is always very succulent when I have ordered it. Gone for a traditional Balti this evening Can’t wait!
