India Palace Restaurant

This is a very good Indian restaurant, even though I'm not a fan of buffets. I'm rather reluctant to eat anything that is heated by hot plates and may have been sitting around most of the day. But coming here I didn't get any of that impression by the way the food is put out. I have had very good service, however, there was one problem about ordering wine here. You ask for a bottle or two of wine and end up by getting glasses instead and not as many as asked for. That aside the food has been very tasty, service has been very good and friendly. I also like having the option of having jalebi for dessert, although I would like gulab jamun just as much as an option! It is a clean and spacious restaurant and very comfortable too. I came here for a birthday lunch with my extended family and was not disappointed and would visit again, and I would recommend to others! Well done India Palace!!

The fact that is primarily is a buffet my review will hinge on that quality. It is possible to order from the menu, however, I found the pricing works out the same and you do get dessert as well. The other Indian buffet in Regina of note is Spices of Punjab, but I like this one better. The seating and atmosphere is by far better here. I also prefer the buffet arrangement at this restaurant. There isn't much different on the menu between the two, but if you're lucky you could get a free lunch for two. I haven't won yet, however, always worth a try! Go to their facebook page and see for yourself. The jalebis are always fresh and tasty! The naan I think is better quality here than Spices; the lighting is brighter and more cheerful!

My wife and I stopped for a quick lunch. This was not the first time and it has been generally consistent each time. The service was pleasant, it was clean and there was a reasonable selection in the buffet but I would not characterize the food as overly authentic and is much much milder than I would like. This is Indian food on training wheels. I would love to have an authentic Indian restaurant in my end of town but alas this is not it.

We missed the restraint that previously operated at this location. We were so pleased to be welcomed and served in the same pleasant manner by the new operator. The Indian dishes were moderately hot. A wide variety was offered and very clean presentation.Service was very polite and frequent. Well worth the price.

Had a nice lunch. Buffet is recharged frequently Hot nan and chicken brought to your table Rest is buffet style. Curries and other foods as well as desserts Great service
