The Thai chef is very experienced and to me, this place provides authentic Thai food! You may order a bottle of wine there too, the price of wine is very reasonable. For sure will return."

Very disappointed....... This is the first bad review I have ever given on trip advisor and it's such a shame! We were very excited to try this Thai restaurant in our local area- as we read some great reviews. We love good Thai food... and have eaten fantastic Thai all over Sydney, Melb (David Thompson) Singapore markets Etc. When we arrived they actually forgot the spring rolls and had to cook them reasonably quickly ... and they were a bit undercooked, slightly greasy and not much flavour or filling. We ordered mostly all vegetarian - and the vegetables just weren't fresh, the tofu tasted very strange? . The spiced pumpkin curry was just OK, and the pad Thai was very sloppy with not much flavour. We really tried to enjoy this meal but just couldn't. I ended up throwing half of it out. Unfortunately I could not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
We have been to this restaurant many times and have never been disappointed. Great authentic Thai but also there are specialities from the province of Isaan. I would never normally order the Isaan sausages but they came with the mixed entre and they were delicious. Stuffed with rice and herbs. Do try them. About the wait for service - I have noticed it is a bit slower but hey! Slow food cooking here. Nothing from a jar. Make a night of it. Don't rush and enjoy the best thai food I've had for a long time. Friendly staff too.
We've dined at Isaan Village several times. The food is always excellent quality, fresh produce and authentic Thai food. The owner comes from NE Thailand and the food is slightly different to the normal run of the mill Thai. All food is freshly prepared after ordering. Staff are very friendly and will change a meal to be gluten-free if you ask. The restaurant has an authentic Thai feel along with Thai music. Well worth a visit.
I have spent a lot of time in Thailand and my wife is thai. The food here is as authentic as is gets. Very fresh and very good. Had the isaan sausage, larb gai ,som tum (papaya salad) my wife was very happy to see this on the menu and the pineapple rice. All were good sized serves and we were very full. If you want real thai food try this restaurant. Highly recommended and we will be back. :) :)
