Appetizer soggy white bread topped with chopped fresh tomatoes. Lentil soup was good. Husband had Chicken Caprese, kept saying something is wrong with this chicken, so I tasted it. It was like frozen chicken that had just been parboiled, tasteless. I had penne pasta with mozzarella and eggplant. It was a large serving of overcooked pasta with tiny pieces of eggplant. The little pieces of eggplant were tasty. There was so much overdone pasta that I couldn't eat, the dish looked like I never touched it! To add insult, the bill included a 20% gratuity! It was a really nice atmosphere We had good food. My veal piccata was greaty mom's linguine and clams was as well. My sis had a veal on cream sauce and it was a little bland so we asked for parsley to freshen it up as well as block pepper and a little whit wine and they were of parsley but gave us dried. Ok. Best Italian food, around here,food is great and the service was awesome, my favorite Italian restaurant, best one around here.
