Isabella's Taverna Tapas

What a wonderful dinner!! We started off with Papas Bravas and Queso al Horno. The Queso al Horno is a piece of toasted fresh baked bread, brie, port wine reduction, almonds, and orange.. it was an explosion of flavors! It was absolutely delicious! We shared a glass of peach sangria which was very sweet and paired really well with the Queso al Horno. My husband ordered Solomillo and I ordered a vegetable Paella. Both extremely tasty. Isabella's capped off a great afternoon in downtown Frederick. Started at a local brewery on the Creek, walked down to Market Street for some shopping and stopped at Isabella's for lunch. One of my favorite spots for a meal downtown ???? ???? ????. We picked 3 tapas to split and thoroughly enjoyed all of them. That and an Oktoberfest craft beer made for a great lunch stop. There was a table or two out front but we sat inside at a booth and had great table service.

First trip to Frederick. Wanted to eat somewhere local, and was recommended Isabella?s by a friend. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. Great tapas options. I really wanted to try the paella, but didn?t have the time to wait for its preparation (menu states up to 25 mins). The food came out quickly and the server let us know that it would come out as it was ready, which was more than OK. I recommend the short rib and fried asparagus

Dined on 7/25/14. Very impressed with menu. Loved the fact that they offer gluten free meals and grass fed beef. We shared a selection of tapas which were outstanding. Will definitely be back.

Stopped by here quick, friendly bartender who I chatted with while waiting 5-10 minutes for my tapa, Peruvian chicken skewers that were a delight, got a taste of my people's food!
