Money Pink Floyd Normally I would not leave 5 stars for a convenience market that was pretty pricey, but this was the least priciest place around Waikoloa Village for food. We stayed at the Hilton Waikoloa and balked at the $30 price for a plate of spaghetti with meatballs at Nui Italian. Breakfast at A Bay 's Island Grill cost us $77 for a bad experience/food. Here 's a sample of what we bought for dinner: Veggie Tempura Maki $8.99 Spicy California Roll $8.99 Veggie Tempura Maki $8.99 Turkey Crescent Sandwich $9.99 Musubi Chicken Katsu $4.99 With tax, about $44.00, which is a bargain, plus don 't have to pay a tip or a credit card usage fee like some places tend to do (A Bay 's Restaurant). We went back the following day for more food and a picked up a few items for breakfast as well. They have a very large selection of deli food items, poke, sandwiches, sushi, pizza, salads and sides. I wanted to buy some paper plates but they were $14.99 for 60 plates so I decided against it. I normally bring paper plates on my trip to heat up food in the microwave at the hotels but I forgot. I decided it was worth it to buy a small pizza and use the cardboard box that it came in to heat up the rest of my food. We also bought some small incidentals and gifts. I recognized the nail polish brand they had there (Island Girl) and asked the cashier if Island Gourmet Market was part of the ABC store chain and she said yes. Save your receipts because if it totals a $100 you can get a free gift. I did not redeem a gift even if I 've spent way over a hundred because I forgot. Next time! RETURN FACTOR: If I ever do go back to Waikoloa, I won 't be staying at the Hilton Waikoloa, I 'd probably stay at King 's Landing and stay in a condo with a kitchen, buy food at the Kona Costco and cook the entire time I am there. I will stop by here to buy gifts, though. In a pinch, this place is the bomb!

We were staying at the Marriott Resort and this market is a convenient walk at the entrance of the Queen's Marketplace. We came to stock up on milk, coconut water, and also some of the coffee (mocha) in a can. The Island breakfast was reasonably priced and filling! We returned many times for more coconut water and also tried their grab and go food. Definitely get their poke bowls! My husband doesn't like fish and even he liked it! On another day, I grabbed a chicken katsu musubi and somen salad for lunch...both were tasty and fresh. The people who work there are friendly and welcoming! This is a great spot for quick and delicious meals.

Bought 2 chicken breasts for a picnic this morning. Got to the beach and discovered that while I’d paid for breasts, I was given 2 chicken thighs. A bit disappointed. Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–10
