This is a great place for a quick stop right off the highway. Whether it be burger, breakfast, or ice cream, you'll find something to fill the spot. Breakfast & Lunch are their thing. Stop in after they open at seven in the morning, and you'll find the local 'BS' club assembling regularly. It makes for interesting banter. Stop in at lunch and try their clubhouse sandwich, it'll fill you up. This is a family run business, the family could be 'happier to be there' sometimes, but the food is always consistent, and it won't leave you running for the bathroom. The fries are not home cut (some may like this), and the burgers normally come with mustard and green relish (again some may like this), but personally, I'd prefer home made paddies, home cut fries, cheddar cheese, with red relish, and ketchup.... but that's 'my' personal preference.
Have stopped there for lunch on a few occasions but just recently had the opportunity to stop in for breakfast on a trip up north. While it may take a little longer to get your food, we all felt it was worth the wait. The eggs were cooked perfectly, hash browns were wonderful and I could not get through all the farmer's sausage that came with the breakfast. My dad had the three egg omelette with ham and cheese and it was stuffed full of both. The place is clean, especially the washrooms, and while old in décor, I have never been disappointed stopping there.
If your saying they have good burgers you should really get out more .. . The patties are frozen hockey pucks from Costco but even worse is the service . Owner/Cook does everything in his power to hope you never come back again . Customers =Work . Avoid if possible
If your looking for a fantastic hamburger this is a place you want to be ,just to get out for a day trip this is a spot you can drive to even from Vancouver get that awesome hamburger then head home it"s a fantastic drive you will not regret..
