Jameson’s Cafe Tea Rooms

We rocked up on a Sunday afternoon having driven passed and seen this wonderful decorated tea shop that stood out amongst the other shops. A quick turn around and parked up and off we went to see if they had a table. It was very busy however they could accommodate us outside which was perfect as it was a beautiful sunny day. We were presented with an extensive menu with a variety of afternoon teas to choose from as well as light bites sandwiches and various other items. we decided to pick the Splendour Afternoon tea (see photos). We wasn 't disappointed and very impressed with the selection. Now this isn 't an ordinary afternoon tea with quiche, pork pie and the normal items associated. This is a proper afternoon tea with hasn 't been altered in anyway and hold true to the tradition of afternoon tea. All served on bone china cups and plates that makes the whole place stand out from the crowd. The staff were attentive at all times and decor inside was just perfect. If you 're looking for a traditional afternoon tea to take someone out then this is the place for you. A little bit of an oasis amongst the variety of shops around it. You won 't be disappointed !!!

A voucher for Mother’s Day was unspent as I had my foot in a massive medical boot in March now boot free we booked for an afternoon tea, but sitting outside so we could bring our cocker spaniel too. After twenty minutes the sun came out and we had a lovely time! A pint of Farmers Blond with some lovely cheese, grapes, apple and celery went down very well. The scones and carrot cake meant I vowed to eschew carbs for a week after that onslaught! The dog was happy to lay under the table as he was assured a few morsels. Husband made short work of his sandwiches and cakes too.

I ordered 3 afternoon teas as a birthday treat for my sister and family. She has just undergone an operation and cannot go out. I collected the selection which came in an attractive sturdy cardboard box. Upon opening, each group of items was separately and carefully packaged. The food was really fresh and delicious. My sister loved it and remarked that it far exceeded an afternoon tea she had eaten recently at a well known Sheffield hotel. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Thank you

I ordered a lunch for ten from the catering menu half vegetarian and half vegan. I also ordered ten small cakes. The food was delivered and was outstanding. Sandwiches were varied and interesting and there were plenty of them. It also included small quiches and sausage rolls which the vegan family members were ecstatic about. I shall without doubt use this service again. I visit the tea room often but this was my first experience of a delivery and it did not disappoint.

On our visit we had the Jamesons Breakfast Plate (Full English) quality was excellent. The staff were very friendly helpful and attentive. The menu is extensive ranging from breakfast right through to afternoon Teas. This is our third visit and will definitely be calling again
