Very friendly staff greet you with a big smile and happy to have a good chat. A lovely place to stop having been out walking all day over the mountains. It is a small place but they offer plenty of various drinks and food. Recommend...the soup. We also had some cake and coffee, very nice. Lovely quiet place.
Located hour's walk from the parking at the end of the Traunsteinstrasse, the Mair Alm can easily be reached on a private road from there. Views on the lake and on the south-west ridge of Traunstein. Can't say much as regards food, didn't...like a nasty wee dog.
Mein zweites Mal. Ich bin nach einer Wanderung vom Laudachsee zum Restaurant gekommen. Das Bier war kalt und ich hatte einen Teller Aufschnitt und Toast. Ich liebte den Ort. Ich komme wieder, wenn ich hier im Land bin.
My time at the place. I arrived to the restaurant after hiking from Laudachsee. The beer was cold and I had a plate of cold cuts and toast. I loved the place. I will return again when I'm here in the country.
