I'm giving this place 5/5 stars and here is why: 1. The sushi is shockingly good. I didn't expect this walking into a very small restaurant where we were the only customers. I always tell my wife, if we want to blindly try out a restaurant, we should at least try the ones with customers already inside. Well, I stand corrected. 2. They served us water as most restaurants do. But, they failed to mention this is cucumber and lemon water. When we tried it, we were surprised and worried about contamination. When we told the restaurant manager about this, they totally understood.. apologized and even gave us free ice cream. THAT is how you manage a restaurant. We didn't even expect the free ice cream but we were so grateful to be heard! 3. The prices are excellent. Really good. I do not suggest the crab rangoon. The sushi was fresh and fantastic at his price point. Service was good and even though a mistake was made... it was fixed and we gave a hefty tip because they really deserve that.
Came here for Valentine's Day. The owners were so sweet, sending us home with roses and chocolate! The soft shell crab appetizer is fantastic the batter is different than how it's prepared in a spider roll (which they also do well). Sashimi and rolls are well executed without breaking the bank. Ambience is cozy and serene. Servers/staff have always been very thoughtful, like packing our leftovers as if they were a carry out order with extra wasabi and everything! Great spot for a casual date night.
Overall a perfect experience when trying new food! My mom and I loved the food here and we will definitely be going again! A friend of mine from school works there and they were able to help pick out some food that we will enjoy : The restaurant was very decorated and I definitely felt comfortable being there. Shout out to my very good friend for helping us :
Great place in Bridgeport for sushi! We lived nearby and did delivery even though it was well within walking distance. I did find like an eyelash or eyebrow in my rice one time when we got delivery which does my impact my future with ordering (I'm very easily grossed out). But overall, very good spicy tuna rolls and specialty rolls,and they are super quick!
