I was there couple of days ago with a colleague from Chicago. First of all the smell of garbage at the entrance corridor was really disturbing at the entrance as well as at the end of the dinner. We had no cue for sitting and...not a long waiting after our order. Food was ok but not wow, prices a bit high comparing to quality and service just normal, nothing special. At the moment of paying the waiter told us that they don’t accept credit cards and that we shouldn’t ask for it cause in Austria they don’t use at the restaurants (too expensive). We complained about it and he said it’s written at the entrance. We went checking it and it was written only on a side of the menu in a not visible and too high position.
Right in the city round the corner from the tourist information. Staff very friendly and there’s an English menu too. Great beers and good food. The chef cordon bleu pork was very good as was the schnitzel. Served with very well made rice and a...good sized salad side dish. Nice and cosy inside this pub. Prices were very good too. Definitely recommended
Ordered schnitzel, roasted pork and fried chicken were all tasty. Served quite fast and staff were friendly. Prices are reasonable considering the location is on main square, EUR per person including drink. Staff are friendly and fast. The only thing is there’s no English...menu, only German. But staff can help you with translation.
The only option for dinner during the summer months is to sit outside with the smokers. One waiter refused to talk to us but the other waiter took pity on us and agreed to allow us to sit inside to avoid the smoke. Unfortunately, the...food itself was pretty average and they only accept cash. Give this one a miss.
