Hmm, okay but not great. Came in on a Sunday morning around 10:30 AM for dimsum and there was no wait (IYKYK it's a rare unicorn that a dimsum restaurant has no wait , but maybe that was a red flag. Dimsum is arguably one of my favorite meals because of the variety of dishes to nibble on, but I feel that Kim Sum missed the mark on seasoning across the board and as a result the meal felt lackluster. Let me detail what I mean: Shumai had plump pieces of shrimp mixed into the pork (perfect mixture! but the soy sauce salt added was missing not something you can add after the fact Crispy BBQ Pork Buns had an amazingly crisp exterior but the topping is usually sweet and we felt that it was very not Turnip Cake had the MOST perfect sear but again where's the seasoning? Other items of note that detracted from our overall experience: 1 the tea teapot filter was terrible quality (there were several chrysanthemum pieces in my cup which was annoying when tea is integral to balancing out the meal, and 2 dishes came out incredibly slow we had to reorder the same dishes multiple times which I typically expect from a Chinese restaurant but this was definitely worse than usual. Kim Sum is closer to me than Philadelphia and Cherry Hill, but I think I may justify the additional travel time for better quality food everything was a miss for me.
