Unfortunately, we did not even get a chance to try the cocktails as we got kicked out before even reaching a menu. After passing by this bar a few times since being here, we decided to go drink a cocktail with my partner on this Wednesday night. The terrace looked pretty empty so we sat down and waited for the waiter to come, once he arrived, he told us that we had to reserve and therefore were not welcomed (pretty funny although his outside seatings were all completely free). He then told us to leave straight away without discussion. We asked a couple seating outside if they had reserved and they responded very arrogantly that the “right” to seat had to be reserved. Apparently we were not dressed properly, a dress shirt and a pair of shorts on a summer night. The owner then came back outside and asked us to leave once again, arguing that the street (public place) was his and that we had to leave once again. Moreover, He was not keeping the 1m distance from us, although I kept asking him to do so, he kept getting closer to me and wanted to pick up a physical fight with us. After a strong five minutes of trying to understand why we weren’t welcomed, and him getting closer to us and more aggressive we decide to leave. He questioned the fact that we wouldn’t have enough money to pay for a drink at his place, how would he know??? I felt more than verbally and nearly physically harassed and cannot believe that a business owner can kick out people that way without giving them a chance.. would DEFINITELY not go NOR give him your money.
Went to this bar every day for a week. The food is really good, the drinks hit the spot and the service is brilliant. Young Helena (elena) not sure how you spell it- she's a pocket rocket. She must work 16-18 hours a day yet still greets you with a beaming smile. This is an excellent bar but Helena makes it so special!!!
Best drinks and the owner is one of the nicest people in the world. Awesome place!!! Don't miss going here. Nice quiet spot towards the north end of the main street.
this is one of the best bars in Platja d'Aro. The service is super, the drinks are served to perfection. Ideal for Apero or to continue the evening after diner.
