This place, off the beaten track, off the highway, is always full of truckers and locals. The daily special is a good value and always ample in size. The two dishes I mostly order when in the area are smoked pork sausages with potato salad or "Gnagi" a large, simmered pigs knuckle with mustard and a salad. Worth a detour.

This place is not far from the highway but far from the usual. Serving the best potato salad, the best steamed pigs hocks and knuckels, very tasty Bauernhamme, very good smoked sausages etc. Served with a good Swiss hard cider and finish the meal with a Nussgipfel. Heaven!
