Thanks to another TA reviewer, we brought this inn out of our hotel. I had been set a bit off from his position at the edge of a campsite, and in the way it looked from outside, turned out...as always to offer us a nice meal, and was indeed a pleasant place to dine clean, tidy and comfortable. Service was efficient and polite. Good, solid Germanic farewell was what we were looking for, and is what we got. My only negative comment would be that everything was very fat, maybe this is for the course in such a restaurant, but be careful. Our Wiener Schnitzel and Steak were both served with delicious pan roasted potatoes with diced onion and bacon. The steak also came with a good house made mushroom sauce. Although there was a considerable menu of ice desserts that looked tempting, we were stuffed after our meals to manage something else. Give this a piece; not only overlook it in favor of the Gashof Rogg brewery only steps on the main road.
Ambience schön, Operation scheint hatte keinen Wunsch nach seinem Job. Das Essen kam nach etwa 1,5 Stunden. Es war in Ordnung, aber die Wartezeit war für uns sehr schwierig. Frag nicht, ob du was trinken willst oder ob es gut war. Ich habe immer noch einen Tipp gegeben. Nein danke. Schade. Hoffen wir, dass der Herr nur einen schlechten Tag hatte. Getränke kamen von einem jüngeren Mädchen, das zumindest freundlich und herzlich war, sollte sie diejenige sein, die die Tische als Vorschlag nimmt.
This restaurant is located on a campsite. But don't let that go. The food was excellent. We had both Rump Steak. My husband had a pepper sauce with rusti and I had onions and chips. The onions were somewhat oily. But otherwise... it was good. We had dessert, fruit salad and ice cream and cup Denmark ice cream with hot chocolate sauce. The service was great and the price was very reasonable. If you stay in Löffelschmeide, this is a nice 10 minutes walk on a well maintained path.
We stayed at the fantastic campsite for 2 weeks and had several great meals here. The service was attentive and the food was very delicious. We also had several nice evenings sitting outside with drinks or ice cream and playing cards. Very relaxed and pleasant.
