La Bodega De Santiago

When I reserved (only online) they told me that there was no more disponibility inside. So I had to choose outside (under a beautiful big old ficus tree, but yesterday night it was cold). When I went inside to give a look (very nice and elegant location, as my Lonely Planet wrote), I was disappointed by notice that most of the table were empty: only a few persons, who were been previously warmely welcomed, were served there: may be VIP, usual customers or friends?

We have passed this restaurant a few times but never tried it until we and saw the reviews on Tripadvisor. We gave it a go. You book online though we noticed people were turning up without reservations. Wow, so glad we did! It was first class, service, staff, ambience and food was outstanding! We have booked again for later in the week for evening service. Can't recommend this restaurant enough.

So glad we took the taxi ride to discover this restaurant. The setting is beautiful and the staff really look after you. The wine recommendation was excellent. Food wise excellent too. Fish and steak mains. Desert…….Goats cheese cheesecake. Mind blowing! Absolutely fabulous.

Ten years since the last time we ate here. It was amazing then and it has only improved! A great atmosphere with amazing service and great food. A little on the expensive side of things but worth every euro.

Absolutely amazing! If your after somewhere with a traditional spanish feel i’d recommend. Food and Wine 10/10 I would say make sure you book out the front of the terrace not the back.
