La Casa Bella - Tisch reservieren

My wife and I had dinner at this restaurant in the evening. We arrived at 7.00 pm, early in French terms and we left at 8.45pm, unfortunately we were the only people in the restaurant. It took them about 15 mins to take our wine order but that eventually arrived, with a mixture of nuts. Our starters arrived after a further 10 minutes with some bread , I had mixed salad, onions, tomatoes and olives and my wife had rocket salad, artichoke marinés, tomato confite,olive and balsamic vinegar. The sound lady serving us was very attentive and polite. My wife ain was a Puttanesca which she enjoyed and i had a Penne arrabiata which was my mistake as the French do not do hot and spicy and it was bland. All in all a very average experience and a pity that the restaurant was empty apart from us. They do a lot of takeaways and maybe thats their forte!

When in Gif-sur-Yvette there is one place you have to visit: the restaurant La Casa Bella! We were there with a family group and most of us ordered pizza – and what a treat! The tast and the look of it were amazing. I have tasted pizza in many countries, not at least in Italy and France but this was just the top! The staff knew exactly what we wanted and with a smile cared about our wishes. The fact that you have a choice between ordinary tomato-based pizza, creme-based, and even an Indian variety with curry sauce, plus the vegetarian varieties, really made the day. Highly recommended, even if you chose something not pizza.

Went two nights in a row. We were staying at the Landmark Trust property nearby and this is the nearest eatery. I had the same pizza both nights, one with a white cheese sauce and chicken. The pizza was very tasty both nights and the pasta that others had also looked very nice to.

This place will do in a pinch if you're staying at a nearby hotel, and is fast and cheapDon't expect a lot from the pizza, though.

ordered twice. absolutely tasty pizza. A little expensive. Staff very pleasant and welcoming. to be done again.
