Had lunch in La Cepa Vieja in Valencia and what a treat that was. The food is really good, well made and great quality, enjoyed it very much. They also have an excellent winelist with many small upcoming winemakers, mostly from the Valencia region. The restaurant is run by Cecilia and Raúl, a lovely couple who really enjoy what they are doing and do it well. Prices are very reasonable, both for the food and also for the wine. Highly recommend La Cepa Vieja, it's well located just outside of the old town in Valencia, don't miss going there!
The restaurant only served a tasting menu which was delicious. They asked if we have any allergies at the beginning, but since we don't, we got the standard 4 course meal of the day. Each dish was very tasty and creative. The staff was very friendly, the location nice and clean. A very good experience!
Near to our accommodation. Wonderful local ethical tasty food. Run by cecilia and Raul. Travel here by cheapest taxis in world. You will not be sorry. We had 4 courses with puddings with wines all for 55 euros for 2. Amazing food Recommend you do not miss this place!
We booked at the last moment but were happily received. We had the four course set meal, and enjoyed it all. Great food, very good wine selection. We'll be back!
