La Confusion des Sens

We came across this little place having had an active day out. It was the first restaurant we saw, close to the main square parking in the centre of Pontarlier. The menu is mostly galettes and crepes and there is definitely a Breton theme with Breton beer and cider too. I had a galette with grated comte cheese, ham and an egg. My husband had a 'La Royale ' which had just about everything on it including mushrooms, pureed tomatoes, grated comte, egg and a sweet onion compote (type thing). This was a double galette too, so ENORMOUS! Both were really good, nicely cooked, well seasoned and beautifully presented. Having had such a wonderful main course, we opted for dessert and were not disappointed. I had a crepe with dark chocolate and my husband had a triple chocolate crepe (with white chocolate, dark chocolate and nutella). Again both were really lovely. Whilst the food was simple, it was done really well and at a reasonable price too. The gentleman running the place was also very friendly and attentive. We were very impressed and would definitely recommend this place to anyone. A little gem hiding in a side street.

A little hidden in the old town center of Pontarlier, this is a cosy little place with an interesting menu. We had salty galettes and sweet crêpes, a wonderfully fresh salad and loved every bite of it. Coffee is good here, too. Service was friendly and quick (it was amazing to watch how one guy could handle it all), and if we lived close by we sure would be regulars here!

There is very good food fast service. Only flat is that we can not have a doggy bag to carry if have not finished even a piece of alu to carry damage have to throw half a crêpe. But otherwise everything was perfect I recommend

Warm and personal welcome to small care. Quality meals and sufficient quantities with good homemade ingredients. Very correct price for such quality. I recommend you during your visit to Pontarlier!

Restaurant on top! I recommend, dishes with original ideas and a professional and dynamic server in his work!
