La Craie des Mets

we remembered the spatialities when this was lou paleisoun (now closed), and we thought we should try the new facility. service was definitiw friendly and attentive, but the judgment is overall patchy. the special medieval menu was very simple and could have hit the place, but. there were a series of problems. a bill of 90 euro for aperitifs, two netzens, two desserts, johannisbeere, bottle water and two coffees is steep for the following reasons: the huge derecote was at least a third girbel, not good for 22 euro, and the colonel at 11 euro contained the cheapest tasting table wodka they could find in france. I have lined much better: my octopus stone and risotto were very good in my head and the panne cartta with salted caramel was also beautiful...and big. even if it was served in a paper coffee cup. unprocessed overall, but with some certain good points. I wish the young people who have taken every success.

We decided to go eat here as a family as Brignoles had not impressed us much with its repertoire of restaurants... until we tried La Craie des Mets! The food... everything we ordered was divine, and the friendliness of the staff topped it all off!...The restaurant is run by a lovely couple, the husband slaves away in the kitchen, whilst his wife runs around the restaurant ensuring everyone has an enjoyable evening. She even gave us top tips on where to go and what to do in the area . The food changes every 2 weeks or so, but I can assure you, anything you have will please your tastebuds! The octopus was especially tasty! Definitely recommend if you're in search of good French food in a cute, quiet and unique setting!

previous visit I had scallop dishes that were excellent. this time I ordered a seafood arm that I thought would be like a bouillabaisse - I was disappointed. it had 2 large garnels, scallops, maybe a few small oysters large pieces of kartoffels / carrots along with a sauce....Don't order them again. my wife had lammed, which was pretty chewing. service was excellent as usual.

great menu selection available to a lot of taste. Delicious locally produced kitchen served in generous portions.
