In an otherwise work-a-day town this was a great restaurant for a family of 5. The "Patron" is an enthusiastic restauranteur who made great efforts to look after us. Terrific steaks, reasonably priced (for "proper resturant food") and very friendly. We had Calvados added to our apple desert in a flourish and generally had a lovely experience on an otherwise wet evening.
Always very good food and wine, claims to be fresh and local produce where possible and tastes authentic, occasionally very nice specials. Very pleasant waiter, the owner is a bit of a pain in the **** but I suspect it is him that maintains the...More
We stopped here before going to Geneva . Plate of the day duck for Rox and lamb for me accompanied by large coffee expressos all very good, fast and nice service very pleasant overall. We noticed it is very popular with locals, always a good sign.
In the centre of small town Saint Julien en Genevois, just outside of Geneva. Typical French Menu with a fairly large choice of traditional dishes at affordable prices. Good value for money. Correct and timely service.
